Probably one of the best remakes of “Otis” that I’ve heard PERIOD. Sevyn is doing well with her breakout single, “I Like It“, but its about time for some new music. She drops her second single, “It Won’t Stop“, produced by Diplo and Free School. Sevyn’s debut is due later this year on Chris Brown’s CBE/Atlantic Records.
Jhene Aiko drops new material from her Tumblr page, called “Comfort Inn Ending“, produced by No I.D. She keeps it short and sweet with her two minute dark sounding track, telling a quick story about falsely falling in love and being played as the result of it. Jhené’s LP, Souled Out is due out later this year.
You don’t understand how fresh and unexpected this track is! Man! The TDE Camp — Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, & ScHoolboy Q — basically leaves us wondering why there won’t be a Black Hippy album. Ehh like I said before, “It’s so cliche”. You know what I just realized? Unless I’m super late or something, but we never got a mixtape after Nipsey was doing those cover freestyles for followers campaign on Twitter. I think he’s truly been M.I.A. since then…of course unless my name is contradicting itself.
