Haven’t seen Kirby Maurier’s name in my eyesight as of lately. Good thing I went browsing on DJBooth.net. and found this hip hop/rnb classic. Kirby will remind you of a time when rnb and hip hop was first meshed together–kind of like when Mary J. hopped on Method Man’s All I Need which made history. Her new track Da’ Lick featuring J Nics, produced by DJ Premier will definitely prove my claims. Off of her EP Class Of 96′ (which is available now) here is Da’ Lick
