Every year we have that one mixtape that outshine all the projects and EPs that drops locally in the streets of Connecticut. And although the people can debate and argue on who has the best flow, who’s tasting weak sauce, or who put CT on the map, you can’t deny good shit when you hear it.
In my three years of blogging, the streets made it clear on who owned the summer. In 2009 Mr. Jelks brought ‘Haunting In Connecticut‘. 2010 it was Mr. Got It Like’s ‘Blood Thicker Than Water‘. 2011 it was Cluminadi’s ‘Elephants‘ EP. To keep the fire going, make way for Tay’s anticipated debut, ‘Long Over Due‘.
