Chance Fischer – Colossus x Staccato (VA)

March 2nd, 2015 | By Janei

Screen-Shot-2015-02-19-at-11.58.24-AM

Its been a a while since we got some new Chance Fischer. Premiered on YouHeardThatNew, Chance drops off his new single, “Colossus” featuring Erikka J. Produced by Denero & Matt Campfield, Fischer breaks down the term ‘colossus’; the idea of it being exhausted from fighting an entity seemingly too big to defeat. It comes all together when you hear Erikka J bellows “Lasciatemi Morire” during the chorus, which translates as “let me die” – originally found in the “Lamento d’Arianna” composed by Claudio Monteverdi. Good job Chance

Also check out his previous single, “Staccato“, produced by Don Kevo

Chance Fischer – SHINYTHINGS (VA)

March 5th, 2014 | By Janei

artworks-000072044124-m304t4-t500x500

“My city likes SHINYTHINGS, and everybody bites their tongue because we never had a taste of all the finger things.” “SHINYTHINGS” was born out of frustration. The record reflects the ills of the city, the lust for opulence, and the need for redemption that plagues communities. Though this song speaks to Richmond, VA specifically, it speaks to national urban decay and the lack of access available to these areas. The most poignant message of this song, however, is in order to affect change you have to be able to relate to those that need to change. For necessary dialogues to occuer you can’t talk at people, you must speak with people.

– Chance Fischer

Produced by AK, this can be found on Chance’s upcoming project, “WREATH“.

Chance Fischer – No Left Feet (VA)

January 17th, 2014 | By Janei

No Left Feet” is my take on the history of dancing and what it meant to black culture and overall psyche. Furthermore, it addresses the absence of soul in rap and community. Frankly put – you never really see people dance at rap shows. The song stemmed from a conversation I had with my mom about the generational gap with dancing. It’s a fun record which finds me in rare form. Unfortunately, this didn’t make the final cut of my upcoming album, WREATH, but I still wanted people to hear it. – Chance Fischer

I think you forgot something Chance, NOBODY dances anymore! They turn up! Lol produced by Yankee.

Chance connects with Baltimore’s own Rickie Jacobs for his latest track, “Pillars“. Inspired by the Biblical story of Samson and his final stand in the Temple of Dagon, “PILLARS” epitomizes the spirit of triumph and tenacity. Denero & Matt Campfield provide the duo with a soundscape of pulsating synths, fiery drum cadences, and rhapsodic strings.

Chance Fischer – Good Riddance (VA)

Lyrically adept emcee Chance Fischer gives heads something heavier to bump in the whip this summer with the release of his latest, “Good Riddance.” Production by Denero and Matt Campfield provides more than enough bump to turn heads, and the Richmond, VA spitter provides more than enough energy, with aggressive lyrics and an infectious chorus that might be just what you need to find your second wind on these long summer nights. This track gives us the voice of a young, intelligent man who knows that his time on this Earth is limited and refuses to let fear or negativity slow him down.

Chance Fischer – Nightmare In A Frozen Hell (VA)

A darker, colder, chilling side of Chance Fischer emerges from the shadows, as he presents his new single, “Nightmare In A Frozen Hell“. The piano keys on this puts you in a automatic trance as Chance breaks down on all the negative points he experienced in his life. Not saying I thrive off the misery of others, but this track is something serious, and is probably one of my fav Chance Fischer tracks as of yet. Produced by Mr. Ivory Snow. You can download below

Chance Fischer – Salutations (VA)

January 10th, 2013 | By Janei

SALUTATIONS, the second single from Chance Fischer’s upcoming album Friends.Romans.Collegemen., introduces the 22-year-old Richmond rapper as a vigilante wordsmith- unimpressed by current leaders in music. Producers Denero & Matt Campfield’s triumphant drum cadences bolt across infectious synths and agonizing choral chants, as Chance fluently dispels any regard for competition.

Chance Fischer – Pompeii (VA)

September 25th, 2012 | By Janei

Pompeii, the city that was buried alive has always been an intriguing story in history. It’s not a surprise that Chance Fischer would bring it back to life with the bass pumping beat done wonderfully by Conrizzle. “Friends.Romans.Collegemen.

Chance Fischer – 1% x Mayhem (VA)

Chance Fischer – Fortuna x The Truth (VA)

September 8th, 2012 | By Janei

Catching up on all my Chance Fischer emails, this record “Fortuna” has to be the more personal ones out of them all. A story about how wanting the female in question so bad, yet he feels like he’s not worthy to even speak to her.

Also being added to the roster, Chance gives ya’ll “The Truth“, with his inspired “Safe 2 Say” by Fat Joe.
