J.Nolan drops another cut from his #DistinguishYourself series; this one produced by Tuelv. This project he is about to drop is said to be the last solo project, as he will be doing a collection of collaborations with other artists and producers. The first group of people he will be collaborating with is with Virginia producer, Reese Jones. Together they are known as The Humble Legends.

Following their 2012 release ‘The Archetype EP‘, the duo’s now preparing their first full-length LP for 2014. The title of the project will be revealed at a later time, but their new single “Global Appeal” should hold everyone over until then.

We live in a very sexual culture, no one can ever dispute that. Debates about whether it’s good or bad have gone on for years and they’ll continue long after I’m gone. My main objective with ‘Getting It In’ was to share MY perspective about what goes on in relation to prostitutes, strippers, and other forms of adult entertainment. A lot of times as men, especially in Hip-Hop, we have a hard time drawing the line between endearment and disrespect. I wanted to share a particular woman’s story in a critical, yet non-judgmental manner to humanize some of the sexual behavior we’ve grown so accustomed to.

ATL Pass The Mic Ep 5 [Video] (GA)

J.Nolan and Ducko McFli recently joined in a freestyle episode of ATL’s Pass The Mic. The other artists include Riez and CJ The Fly Guy.

Nolan will be debuting new music in a few weeks. He will be launching a music campaign called #DistinguishYourself, promotion for his next project ‘Distinction‘ due in the Spring. The campaign also represents a little source of encouragement for all of us striving to progress without trying to be a carbon copy of someone else’s blueprint.
