Hello fellow AG viewers! Two weeks ago my latest adventure landed me at SOBs for Hot 97′s ‘Who’s Next Live’ showcase featuring Too Many Zooz, Kreesha Turner, Mapei, and Tinashe. I would have to say this was the best showcase Hot 97 has thrown to this day. Each performers set was high energy throughout the show. There was never a dull moment. Big shout out to Karlie Hustle for putting together an amazing show. Only she could have pulled this one off.

Jennah Bell – Somebody Loved [Perfroance] (CA)

June 4th, 2014 | By Janei

Hearing Jennah Bell sing is like a breath of Febreeze, and it’s a shame that her music is still treated like subway talent. Still there are some people who sought out her work, and even flew her to a different country to showcase her music. Jennah recently has been touring in the Netherlands, and was invited to do a personal performance with Rockstone Sessions. Here she sung “Somebody Loved“. If you like this, you should check out some of her other performances here

Hot 97 Who Got Next: Travi$ Scott Live @ SOBs (NY)

July 22nd, 2013 | By Janei

IMG_7384

Another show, another feature. And I must say this event had to be the craziest one that I’ve attended. Hot 97 presented us with a one of a kind show that gave a platform for up and coming artists to show their stuff. This time they invited newly signed Grand Hustle member, Travi$ Scott, out to the SOBs stage. When I say there was nothing but high energy in the place, I’m talking mosh pits, crowd surfing, stage diving, and eerily puffs of fog rising from the floor. This show was crazy.

Opening up for Travi$ were three up and coming local talent that has also been grinding on these blogs (ours included), by the name of Doley Bernays, Apollo The Great, and legendary artist Doug E. Fresh’s sons, Trips N Slim. Check out the video we compiled for the night.

Travi$ Scott’s latest mixtape “Owl Pharaoh” is available for download now.

**Special thanks to @davebfi for doubling as a photographer and videographer for the night**
