Ro James – Religion (NY)

January 6th, 2016 | By Janei

Here’s a name we haven’t seen in a while. Ro James had the craziest buzz while dropping his EP trilogy, “Jack, Coke, & Cadillacs“, and then he just disappeared. He had a few unfinished cuts floating randomly through the stream holes of music internet, but nothing that really stuck. I wasn’t sure if Ro James was going to be able to bounce back from his hiatus gracefully, but after hearing his new work, my slight concerns was replaced with a overall feeling of enjoyment of his new material. Check out “Religion

Ro James is back with some 2015 music straight out the catalog. “Everything” is everything he adores with this woman he is courting. No word on if this will be attached to any future projects, but enjoy the countryside guitar jam Ro James gives us

Jade de LaFleur – 405 (NY)

November 28th, 2014 | By Janei

Two buzzing RnB/Pop singers Jade de LaFleur and Ro James team up for the alluring single, “405“. Best way to describe the single is visualizing Bonnie & Clyde without the violence. Produced by Jamie Helms. Expect future projects from the two on the top of 2015

Ro James – Neon Lights (NY)

July 16th, 2014 | By Janei

Earlier in the year a Ro James track was leaked prematurely. To give a better representation for the track James himself leaked a new version of the single, “Neon Lights”. Being that this is only a “rough” record there is no word on whether this will show up on any future projects. This single is tough. Check it out below

Ro James – Lights On (NY)

July 7th, 2014 | By Janei

A year after dropping his EP trilogy, “Coke, Jack & Cadillacs” Ro James is back on the scene with some new tunes. “Lights On” is purely demo material, but it could be key signs for a new and improved sound for the soulful rocker. No word on if this will be a official Ro James single, or if it will be attached to any projects.

Ro James – Lisa [Music Video] (NY)

February 24th, 2014 | By Janei

One of my most favorite Ro James song to date, he gives us the visuals to the provocative single, “Lisa”. Produced by The Blendid Babies, “Lisa“, is a inspirational song James came up with for his love of Lisa Bonnet, Lenny Kravitz baby mother. Oh the scandal. Featuring Asher Roth, this can be found on James’s “Coke” EP. Directed by aaronisnotcool

Ro James – Cadillac [EP] (NY)

To complete his three EP series, Ro James concludes his story with “Cadillac“. The four track project starts with a introduction from Wynter Gordon, and wraps up with a feature with Snoop Dogg. If you have been following James, “‘Coke, Jack & Cadillacs“, like we sadly haven’t been, you need to add this to your collection. Stream and download after the jump!

Ro James – ’84 (NY)

September 6th, 2013 | By Janei

I’m still pretty new to Ro James’s sounds, but I can’t deny the music that’s been coming from him lately. After an explosive listen of part two to his trilogy “Coke, Jack & Cadillacs” EP, he continues the momentum with the first single off of “Cadillacs”. We couldn’t talk about smooth “‘84′s” without including Uncle Snoop for a feature. Produced by The Philly Phatboiz

I have been slacking on my Ro James music once again, but to keep it exclusive and current, we have his latest release, “Jack EP“. James teams with production group, Blended Babies, as they give four original tracks with features from Luke James and Asher Roth. This is a dope quick listen. Check it out below

Ro James – Pledge Allegiance [Music Video] (NY)

February 4th, 2013 | By Janei

I may be late on the bandwagon, but better late than never right? The Texas styled man from New York, Ro James, has been building up for his first project, ‘Coke, Jack & Cadillac’s‘ and this video serves as the first efforts from it.

Directed by SARAH MCCOLGAN. Produced by Kwame
