Atlanta production collectives, SMKA & The Flush, have once again partnered with the legendary Stankonia Studios to produce Stankonia Sessions: A3C Edition 2012 presented by TrillHD. The collaborative project was recorded in 3-days during A3C Festival (Oct 11-13th) and includes more than 25 artists on 13 records.
“There was an amazing vibe in Stankonia all weekend. Every artist that came through brought a great energy and unique creativity to the project. We spent 14+ hours in the studio each day and are really excited about the music that came out of the Stankonia Sessions during A3C. It was the perfect storm with A3C & Stankonia Studios and we are happy to be a part of it, and thankful that Grooveshark was able to help make it happen.” – SMKA

During Atlanta’s recent A3C Hip Hop Festival, Grooveshark teamed up with the legendary Stankonia Studios and the Royal Flush/SMKA production team to create an exclusive mixtape. The mixtape features original songs from artists playing the festival as well as some hometown heroes, and will be available November 16 to stream for free exclusively on Grooveshark. The tracks will be accompanied by several behind the scenes videos featuring the artists and production teams creating the songs from start to finish.
