“The Plug” and “I Got My Shhh” are the 4th and 5th installments released from mini-movie “Sneaks is Watching“, by Amir Driver. In “The Plug”, Driver, still on the hunt for his prized sneaker, gets a call directing him to the plug for his desired kicks. “I Got My Shhh“, is more of a celebratory moment, as he rejoices after finally finding what he’s been on the hunt for all day! “My city likes SHINYTHINGS, and everybody bites their tongue because we never had a taste of all the finger things.” “SHINYTHINGS” was born out of frustration. The record reflects the ills of the city, the lust for opulence, and the need for redemption that plagues communities. Though this song speaks to Richmond, VA specifically, it speaks to national urban decay and the lack of access available to these areas. The most poignant message of this song, however, is in order to affect change you have to be able to relate to those that need to change. For necessary dialogues to occuer you can’t talk at people, you must speak with people.
– Chance Fischer
Produced by AK, this can be found on Chance’s upcoming project, “WREATH“.

“No Left Feet” is my take on the history of dancing and what it meant to black culture and overall psyche. Furthermore, it addresses the absence of soul in rap and community. Frankly put – you never really see people dance at rap shows. The song stemmed from a conversation I had with my mom about the generational gap with dancing. It’s a fun record which finds me in rare form. Unfortunately, this didn’t make the final cut of my upcoming album, WREATH, but I still wanted people to hear it. – Chance Fischer
I think you forgot something Chance, NOBODY dances anymore! They turn up! Lol produced by Yankee.
